Summary
Physical-Technical Institute offers consumers refractory ceramic materials for casting non-ferrous metals under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
A complex technology and equipment for slag processing has been developed, including preliminary slag processing in a special tumbling drum with a slag for preliminary separation of flux inclusions and fine fraction of oxides and remelting of pretreated slags in gas or induction furnaces with additional processing with a refining flux. The secondary aluminum alloys obtained in this way are used for charging the main alloys in the production of programmed casting.
Advantages and Innovations
A section was organized for the production of refractory ceramic materials using slag as finely ground additives for the manufacture of non-stick coatings for casting molds and protection of cast iron crucibles, monolithic lining, molding sands, and gating system products.
