Experimental and production enterprise "Ferrit" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures devices for magnetic treatment of liquid and gaseous media (water, oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, natural gas), designed to prevent the formation of scale on the walls of pipelines and heat exchange elements (for water), to prevent tar paraffin formation on the walls of pipelines and technological equipment (for oil), and also to increase the heat of combustion (for liquid fuel and gas).

The main component of the magnetic water and gas treatment devices is a multi-pole magnetic element that creates a magnetic field of a given intensity and frequency. The magnetic element is installed in a metal case. Water or other liquid, passing through a magnetic field of a given intensity and frequency, undergoes certain physical changes.

During the activation of water molecules by a magnetic field, an avalanche-like growth of scale crystals occurs in the water column in the form of soft sludge, preventing their deposition on the walls of pipes and heating elements.

As a result of magnetic activation of fuel and gas molecules, the heat of combustion increases, which leads to an increase in heat transfer and a decrease in the CO content in car exhaust gases.
