Summary
Scientific and Practical Centre for Materials Research offers consumers water treatment stations with simultaneous removal of iron and manganese under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Iron removal stations with a design capacity of up to 80 thousand m3/day. Water filtration is carried out using modern technology for the simultaneous removal of iron and manganese.

The stations are equipped with both single filters and filtration units consisting of a different number of working tanks connected together into a block via a distribution console. The diameters of the containers are taken depending on the area and filtration speed.

The following are accepted as filter media:
-quartz sand;
-natural material based on manganese dioxide;
-hydroanthracite.

To regenerate the load, wash with water for 10-15 minutes in three stages:
-backwashing with the addition of sodium hypochlorite to disinfect the load;
-period of calm;
-direct flushing.

The filters are equipped with automatic shut-off and control valves. Control system using electrical and pneumatic systems.

The main water treatment technology is iron removal with preliminary aeration of the source water. To ensure this, a simplified aerator and an oil-free compressor are used, with automatic control of the volume of supplied air.

An automated system for controlling technological processes at water intake stations has been developed, designed for operational control of the technological process of drinking water purification, monitoring the condition of technological equipment, monitoring process parameters, analyzing and processing the information received.
