Summary
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus offers consumers a probe meters of highs temperatures multichannel interference-stable under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus has developed a probe meters of highs temperatures (600–1950°C) multichannel interference-stable, designed to measure the temperature of heated media by contact method using immersed thermal probes.
Thermal probes are manufactured using commercially available protective ceramic covers designed for installation of thermocouples in them. The temperature is determined fr om the spectrophotometer data as a parameter of the registered spectral distribution in the visible and near infrared ranges.
The proposed probe meters combines the properties of classical contact (thermocouple) and optical (pyrometry) measurement methods, including in your computer and can be easily integrated into an automated process control system.
The lower lim it of measurement (600 °C) is due to the use of relatively inexpensive optical components, the upper limit is due to the permissible temperature of industrially produced protective covers. It is possible to measure temperatures above 1950 °C using special protective cases.

In the probe meter, the number of measurement channels is due to the use of a 4-channel compact optical switch manufactured using MEMS technology. 2, 4, 8, 13, 16 and 24 channel optical switches can be installed.

Advantages and Innovations
The developed method of thermal conversion virtually eliminates the influence of powerful electromagnetic fields on temperature readings and allows you to measure it in cases where thermocouples fail or the reliability of their readings is questionable.
Multi-channel allows multiple measurements to be taken at the same time, which saves time and makes the process more productive.
The advantage of the developed probe meters from the widely used radiation ratio pyrometers is that the optical path of the collected radiation is completely closed, fiber optics is used, the emitting object (ceramics) has stable characteristics, the calculation algorithm significantly improves the accuracy and reliability of measurements in a wide temperature range.
