Summary
The Central Botanical Garden offers consumers a test system for the diagnosis of viral diseases of planting material of woody and shrub plant species under a manufacturing agreement and is also looking for partners interested in concluding a distribution agreement.
Description
A test system has been created and instructions for its use have been developed for the molecular genetic diagnosis of the main viral infections of woody and shrub plants. 21 dominant species of DNA- and RNA-containing viruses of woody and shrub plant species of the genera Vaccinium, Pinus, Picea, Betula, Quercus, Alnus, Malus were identified.
Advantages and Innovations
* The term for diagnosing viral infections is 1 day.
* Determination of latent infection (sensitivity) - 97%.

Already on the market
Comments regarding stage of development
The test system has been tested in plant propagations of the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Test system components are available on the market.
Since 2017, the test system can be used for phytopathological certification of plant products supplied to the domestic and foreign markets.
