A technology and equipment have been developed for the deposition of carbon-containing diamond-like coatings from a pulsed carbon plasma source.

- Microhardness, GPa 70
- Adhesion, kg/mm2> 100.

High mechanical properties of coatings:
- high wear resistance, low dry friction coefficient (0.1),
- low absorption coefficient in the mid-IR region,
- a wide range of changes in the values of electrical conductivity of the coating material (up to 10 orders of magnitude),
- coatings retain their properties on basic technological materials.
