Description
.A technology has been developed for processing and utilizing the spent solid residue of fermentation and lignin wood, and a new organic fertilizer of prolonged action for all types of plants has been obtained.

Development contributes to the efficient use of local resources (including secondary ones); allows you to increase the output of products that meet international standards, improves the environmental situation through the widespread introduction of resource-saving and environmentally friendly technologies.

The Scientific and Practical Center for Bioresources takes part in European projects of international technical assistance and cross-border cooperation in the field of biotechnology and ecology. The Center is the National Contact Point of the European Union Framework Program for Science and Innovation "HORIZON-2020" under the section "Climate, Efficient Use of Natural Resources", supports the CITES Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.

The Center provides scientific support for the state environmental policy in the field of conservation and rational use of flora and fauna, natural communities and ecosystems, scientific and technical support for the conservation and use of biological diversity and bioresources as a national treasure of the Republic of Belarus.

Main activities:

- comprehensive study and scientific support for the conservation and rational use of natural biological resources;
- assessment of the state and dynamics of biological diversity, natural complexes and ecosystems;
- scientific support for the creation, operation and development of the system of specially protected natural areas and the national ecological network;
- development of measures to reduce the negative impact of invasive species, regulation of the number of pests in agriculture, forestry and hunting.
