Summary
The Institute of Radiobiology offers consumers services for assessing the transfer of radionuclides with smoke emissions during the combustion of combustible materials of various degrees of contamination using the Forestfire 2.0 GIS management decision support system to prevent forest fires and minimize their radiation consequences under outsourcing agreement and is also looking for partners interested in concluding a distribution agreement.
Description
Allows to evaluate the transfer of radionuclides with smoke emission during combustion of combustible materials of various degrees of contamination. The program takes into account the mechanisms of migration of radionuclides in the components of woody plants, forest litter, soil and makes it possible to predict changes in the fire hazard in forest phytocenoses based on the analysis of changes in weather conditions, as well as to estimate the dose of external and internal irradiation of the population and personnel involved in the elimination of forest fires in the zones radioactive contamination. "ForestFire 2.0 GIS" allows you to execute an unlimited number of queries (the frequency is determined by updating the weather data on the server) and to distribute the forecast to 22 forestry enterprises, as well as to the territory of PSRER and the Pripyatsky National Park.
Advantages and Innovations
The GIS module allows you to carry out all the basic operations with map layers (scaling, moving, geocoding, etc.), load and save changes in the shp format.
