Principle of operation:
The electromagnetic clutches consists of a housing, a coil, contacts. When a constant voltage is applied to the coil, an electromagnetic field arises that attracts the clutch disc or the brakes of the actuator. When the voltage is switched off, the EMF action stops and the clutch or brake disc rotates freely.
