- thermal destruction of sulfur fluoride, carbon tetrafluoride in microwave discharge plasma;
- the formation of aerosols in the columns of wet cleaning of flue gases;
- modeling of deflagration explosions of fuel-air mixtures at industrial facilities;
- development of reactors for incomplete oxidation of hydrocarbons for the production of synthesis gas;
- erosion processes on the surface of the hafnium cathode of the plasma torch;
- thermal and chemical processes in a steelmaking furnace;
- modeling of thermal processes for the modernization of industrial heating furnaces (boot and continuous);
- study of the kinetics of hydrolysis of sodium borohydride;
- combustion of steel in high-pressure oxygen;
- simulation of diffusion and nucleation of carbon in nickel nanodroplets during the formation and growth of nanotubes;
- the formation of nanoparticles during the evaporation of microdroplets of solutions in a vacuum.
Research areas:
- thermal and diffusion processes;
- hydrodynamics;
- filtration;
- chemical kinetics;
- burning;
- radiation transfer;
- phase transitions;
- nucleation;
- barrier and microwave discharges;
- non-equilibrium states.
