Summary

Description
For artificial lighting of plants when growing them on multi-tier (rack) systems in cultivation structures of the “City Farm” type, the State Enterprise “Center for LED and Optoelectronic Technologies NAS of Belarus” offers light sources based on LEDs of the LED FARM series.
Since 2017, the state enterprise “Center for LED and Optoelectronic Technologies NAS of Belarus” has been producing sources of photosynthetic active radiation based on LEDs of its own design (LED phyto-irradiators) for cultivation structures in protected soil. The proposed technical solutions for artificial lighting of plants are constantly being developed, making it possible to increase the energy efficiency of irradiation installations of cultivation facilities.
Design features of LED FARM modules:
- the body is made of high quality aluminum;
- LEDs - highly efficient energy-saving LEDs (NICHIA (Japan) or Seoul Semiconductor (South Korea);
- side covers are made of durable polymer material;
- fastening: hardware / corners / brackets / lyre;
- LED FARM modules have two designs, differing in the input (output) of the supply wire. In the module designation: X = 1 - the module has only an input wire; X = 2 - the module has an input and output wire.
LED FARM modules are connected in series in an electrical circuit to each other and connected to an external power supply network 230 V / 50 Hz via a power source (driver) AC - DC. LED FARM modules are supplied either individually or complete with a power supply, depending on the design solution.

Advantages and Innovations
To increase the energy efficiency of rack-type phytoinstallations, it is recommended to place modules in the transverse direction. This solution makes it possible to design phytoinstallations with higher efficiency and facilitate equipment maintenance.
