Summary
Institute of Nature Management offers consumers technology for the production of complex organomineral fertilizers under a commercial agreement with technical support, as well as equipment for their production with warranty and post-warranty service for the corresponding technological process under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to improve the technology at the production facility of the buyer of the equipment and technology under a technical cooperation agreement.
Description
Analysis of global trends in agricultural development shows the inevitability of gradual replacement of mineral fertilizers with more advanced organomineral ones, especially in the current conditions of developing pollution of the environment with mineral fertilizers, their constant rise in price, the need to produce full-fledged and safe agricultural products. A new technology for obtaining complex organomineral granulated fertilizers of prolonged action based on peat (KGF) is being implemented. This work corresponds to the priority areas of scientific research of the Republic of Belarus, meets the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of environmental protection and agricultural production. The results of scientific development have been approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, and recommended for implementation.

The characteristics of the created products and their competitiveness significantly exceed domestic and foreign analogues in energy saving, agronomic, economic and environmental efficiency.

Intended for grain, vegetable, row crop and fruit crops, as well as berries and herbs. They show maximum efficiency on soils of light granulometric composition, in conditions of flushing water regime, specialized vegetable and garden farms, water protection areas. Increasing the fertility of sandy and sandy loam soils, disturbed soils contaminated with elements harmful to human health.

Information is posted in  Album of promising developments of the NAS of Belarus organizations for the real sector of the economy (2023), p. 207-208. (in Russian)
Advantages and Innovations
The main feature of the fertilizers is that the nutrients from the prepared granules dissolve slowly. This allows plants to receive adequate nutrition throughout the growing season, while losses from leaching are minimized.

They have a balanced composition of mineral and organic components, contain humic substances and other natural stimulants of plant growth and development in biologically active forms.

Compared to currently used mineral fertilizers, they increase crop yields by 15–30 %, especially on sandy and sandy loam soils.

They are environmentally compatible, do not create excess salt concentrations in the root zone, and eliminate pollution of soils and groundwater with chemicals.

New organomineral fertilizers consist of organic natural products in an activated form (peat, sapropel) - 30–50% and mineral fertilizers (potassium chloride, urea, superphosphate) - up to 70%. It is planned to use manure, chicken droppings, etc. in their production.

Additional comments
The Institute of Nature Management is one of the oldest institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, carrying out research in the field of Earth sciences. The activities of the Institute are aimed at solving the problems of rational nature management and environmental protection together with international organizations.

The Institute carries out research in the following areas:
- development of scientific bases of nature management and environmental protection;
- assessment, forecasting and optimization of anthropogenic impacts on natural complexes;
- scientific justification for the creation of resource-saving technologies for the extraction, processing and use of solid fossil fuels;
- study of the formation conditions and assessment of the state of fresh drinking and mineral waters;
- study of the geodynamics of the earth's crust and modern geological processes on the territory of Belarus;
- geoecological substantiation of the design and placement of especially critical structures and environmentally hazardous facilities (nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power plants, underground gas storage facilities, high-toxic waste disposal sites, etc.);
- diagnostics of the state of the natural environment based on the use of modern aerospace, ground, telecommunications and information-measuring tools;
- study of the global and regional climate and its changes under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors; forecasting climate change and its consequences.

The Institute participates in the scientific support of 6 international conventions:
- Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution;
- Ramsar Convention on Wetlands;
- UN Framework Convention on Climate Change;
- Stockholm Convention on POPs;
- UN Convention to Combat Desertification/Land Degradation;
- Convention on Biological Diversity.

The Institute has scientific contacts with organizations in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, China, the Baltic countries, Armenia, Vietnam.
