News from RCTT Field Office at the Sino-Russian Technopark in Chanchun

On 30 June, Manager of the Field Office of the Republican Centre for Technology Transfer at the Changchun Sino-Russian Technopark Ms Yanchevskaya was to the pilot farm for production of edible fungi (with the Agricultural University of the Ministry of Agriculture of China). Ms. Yanchevskaya got to know the local methods and techniques for fungi-growing in man-made conditions. The pilot farm specializes in pleurotus (Pleurotus ostreatus) and shiitake mashroom, or the Chinese black mashroom (Lentinula edodes), the edible species well-known to Belarus, as well as in several recently introduced fungi, to study pharmaceutical and medical properties thereof.


The Chinese party has put forward a proposal of rendering assistance in creation of an edible mushroom-growing farm in Belarus. The meeting has finalized in a bilateral resolution to sign the relevant memorandum of intents in the near future.
