These days, from 22 through 24 June Minsk hosts the Belarusian-German Cooperation Forum organized by Brucke Osteuropa e.V. (Bridge to Eastern Europe), with the support from the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology of Germany, the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the Minsk Capital Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers, and the Technopark of Mogilev.
Brucke Osteuropa is a country-wide German association aimed at cooperation and collaboration with East-European enterprises, service organizations, intrasectoral associations and amalgamations, technology parks, scientific, research and development institutions and other partner entities in the economic and technology-related areas.
On 22 June, under the forum auspices, there was held an international conference. About 90 delegates representing the economic circles of the two countries exchanged their presentations and held bilateral negotiations. Director of the Republican Centre for Technology Transfer Alexander Uspenskiy highlighted RCTT’s previous activity and basic services offered to foreign clients of the Centre.
According to the schedule of the forum, on 23 and 24 June the German guests are to visit several Belarusian enterprises, the technoparks in Minsk and Mogilev. Another Belarusian-German cooperation conference, this time a region-scale event, will be held in Mogilev.
