Radio-based wireless local area network (WLAN) installations are growing in popularity as enterprises seek to gain the productivity enhancements of an "untethered" workforce. However, signals from radio-frequency-based WLANs (also known as "WiFi") leak from the structure of an office or building, potentially offering security holes into the network. Potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate have been used for decades to extend the shelf life of various products, including beverages. Sodium benzoate in particular imparts a “bite” to beverages as more is added to the mix as pH approaches 4.5.

It must have a coefficient of linear thermal expansion around 2,5 to 3 x 10-5/K The max. service temp. = 200°C (but only for 10 - 20 min). The tensile strength should be around 110 MPa. The modulus of elasticity should be 7000 MPa. The above properties can be achieved using a filler (e.g. glass or carbon fibre) but the conductivity must be maintained. read more ...
