ICE Project Partner Meeting in Riga
The regular partner meeting of the Swedish Institute project of the Thematic Partnerships in the Baltic Sea region program - "Innovation and Creativity Equality" (ICE) took place in Riga (Latvia) on September 1–3, 2014. The project partners are 6 organizations form 5 countries: Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus and Poland. The Republican Centre for Technology Transfer (RCTT) represents Belarus.
The inviting party of the Meeting was the Partner of the project - Latvian Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences.
The meeting gathered about 20 participants from 5 countries.
Activities in Riga included:
- ICE International conference "Statistics and Research About Innovation in Women Dominating Small and Medium- Sized Enterprises (Tourism, Cultural and Creative Industries)", open to the public
- Study visit at "Latvian Development Finance Institution Altum" for innovation support
- Presentations of innovative products Latvian SMEs run by women
- Discussion of project's development and how to proceed
Within the framework the conference Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy, Director of RCTT gave a presentation on a theme "Innovations in the TCCI-industries in Belarus".
